RECONNECTIONS CONSULTS

FRIDAY-SATURDAY

Mike will spend two days with leadership focusing on in depth interviews. He will meet personally with your pastor, men's ministry coordinator [if available], deacons, elders, small group leaders, and a few of your laymen to assess your particular situation. Then, recommendations will be made to get the right team in place to lead you into a new vision and leadership structure.

SUNDAY MORNING

Mike will speak to your congregation during your regular Sunday services, to inform them of your decision to begin a new course, and explain the goals involved. This will allow him to not only speak to your men [we highly recommend a RECONNECTIONS retreat for the men to help them get on board], but also address your women so they can understand how to encourage and pray for their men.

SUNDAY EVENING

Mike will gather with your pastor and the beginnings of your new men's leadership team for a time of Q&A and prayer. Here again the new vision of John 15 leadership will be discussed, and the new team encouraged about the possibilities and opportunities open to them in the Spirit and model Jesus both taught and lived.

FOLLOW UP

For the next three months Mike will work closely with your pastor and leadership team [personally if geographically possible, via Skype video conferencing, phone, and email as well], to answer any questions and continue to encourage them to press on. This will not be an easy process, particularly if your congregation has become accustomed to the Classroom environment as most have, so follow up will be crucial. More group meetings can also be held if necessary. During this time, we will also help you to get networked with other missionally focused ministries across America who can further assist you in your efforts.

For the following three months, Mike will continue to be available for consulting with your team via Skype, phone, and email, but in a less active role. We believe, as John the Baptist, that "He must increase while we decrease" as the process goes forward. Six months should be sufficient time for the vision to be clear and the process fully under way if the proper people are in place, seeking Jesus, and dedicated to following His example.

Again, we highly recommend a RECONNECTING Retreat [see web page] the next time your men gather for a weekend, to provide additional follow up and allow Mike to get closer to your laymen and leadership. We would recommend the retreat if you need additional help or motivation to stay on track, or a Lost Supper weekend if things are going well and you want to bring your men closer to Christ and each other through a Communion experience they will never forget [see that page for fees and charges].
